Axell & Eames Funerals Services and Monumental Masons is a truly independent family run business and a Member of the National Association of Funeral Directors.

The newly acquired and refurbished premises situated in Heathfield High Street, provides and informal enviroment in which to discuss and finalise funeral or memorial arrangements. Should you prefer these discussions to take place in the privacy and comfort of your own home, we would be only too pleased to accommodate your wishes and visit you there.

Jason Eames Dip.FD has been a funeral director for over 12 years and was awarded his Diploma in funeral directing by the National Association of Funeral Directors in 1999, and is proud currently the only fully qualified funeral director (holding the diploma) in Heathfield.

Nicola Axell and her family have been local residents of Heathfield and the surrounding areas for well over a century. Her father, Michael Axell also has his own business and was also on the Ambulances locally for many years. Nicola's mother, Kaye works at the local doctors surgery and has for many years worked for age concern.

All the staff at Axell & Eames are all family. Nicola's daughter, Stacie is our receptionist, and Nicola's father, and brothers Keven & Paul are Pall Bearers along with Jason's father, Paul.
